Begginnings

Welcome to my chess tutorial! To learn about a particular piece simply click on its image and a description of the piece and how it moves will appear. I recommend that you open another browser containing my chess applet. This way you can move the pieces around and get a better understanding of what I'm saying in the tutorial. To do this at any time, click View Chess Board from the menu to the left. I will start from the very begginning, how to set up a game for play.

IMPORTANT NOTE: After clearing the board in the chess applet, before you can return to play mode you must have both of the kings on the board!! Otherwise the game will not switch modes.
